The Mississippi Small Cattle Group (MSSCG)continued its mission in rural America with a visit to Rex Heidelberg Farm in Jones County, Mississippi. MSSCG, in a display of teamwork, vaccinated and castrated more than forty heads of cattle. Despite the initial plan to vaccinate the herd on Monday, May 13, 2024, the operation was rescheduled to Wednesday due to inclement weather. Rex Heidelberg, the farm owner, commended the group’s collaborative efforts, stating, “We have learned methods to improve our cattle herd’s health by associating and working as a team.”
