Mississippi Small Cattle Group: Herman Williams Farm

Wednesday 01 May 2024

The Mississippi Small Cattle Group encountered adverse weather conditions on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Herman Williams Farm in Holmes County, MS. Local meteorologists forecasted an eighty percent chance of rain across the day. This ominous weather did not cause hesitation among the MSSCG from achieving their mission of vaccinating and castrating this large herd of cattle. Today, Herman corralled a veteran group of cattlemen to help manage the process. Allen McReynolds recounted today’s activities as amazing and fantastic. “We worked this huge herd of animals within four hours. This was an awesome demonstration of commitment and capacity to achieve tasks as a collective group of cattle producers. We have seven more farms to tackle.”
