On Monday, June 28, 2021, the Winston County Self Help Youth Group, and the local Infuse 4-H group, displayed their artwork at the Research Center in Louisville, MS. Glendia Cooper of the Winston County Self Help Cooperative provided students with guidance in developing their artwork. Glendia worked for more than forty (40) years in the Jacksonville, Florida Public Schools. After retirement, she decided to return to her native home of Greensboro in Louisville, MS, where she continues to exploit her love of art. According to Jean Harper, WCSHC Youth Leader, “Ms. Cooper seized the opportunity to help local students expand their art skills. We appreciate Ms. Cooper for sharing her knowledge and experiences with the WCSHC’s youth group and the local 4-H group. Additionally, we would like to thank our parents, grandparents, and others for supporting the arts.”
