The Winston County Self Help Cooperative (WCSHC) continues its mission to help save rural America by providing farmers and ranchers with the ability to buy in bulk at discounted prices.
On November 2, 2026, WCSHC partnered with Mr. Delmer Stamps of Stamps Farm, LLC, in Edwards, Mississippi. Mr. Stamps, a beef cattle, forestry, and wildlife farmer, traveled 144 miles from Learned, Mississippi, to participate in the cooperative’s cattle feed program.
Through this partnership, WCSHC assisted Mr. Stamps in gaining access to purchase four tons of cattle feed at a significantly discounted price. This initiative reflects the cooperative’s ongoing commitment to helping its members and friends save money while maintaining productive and sustainable farming operations.
Mr. Stamps decided to participate in the WCSHC feed program because of rising cattle feed and fertilizer costs, along with other economic challenges affecting farmers throughout 2026. These rising expenses continue to burden small farmers and ranchers, making programs like this essential to their survival and success.
The WCSHC remains committed to connecting farmers with affordable agricultural resources, strengthening partnerships, and creating opportunities that help rural families remain on their land.
Together, we are helping farmers save money, sustain their operations, and continue the mission of helping save rural America.
