Winston County Self Help Cooperative delivered locally grown vegetables on Friday, January 17, 2025, in Louisville, MS. We are experiencing cold weather, and families are spending more time inside their homes. This usually accelerates families’ utilities costs and increases their food bills. “We are aware of the human needs, and we are concerned about the well-being of others,” according to Columbus McReynolds, a founding member of WCSHC. “Therefore, we partner with cohorts to share vegetables among those needed.” Mr. Warner Hall of Greensburg, LA, donated over one-thirty bunches of mustard, turnip, and collard greens. Additionally, he provided cabbages and tomatoes. WCSHC shared the bounty with members and friends. “Thank you, Mr. Warner Hall.”
