Allen McReynolds, Winston County Self Help Cooperative, led a collective effort to purchase feed for cattle farmers on January 17, 2025. Allen said, “This initially provides cattle farmers with a twenty percent savings. Also, this feed helps enhance the herd viability during the winter months. This process is one of WCSHC’s cornerstones: helping farm families minimize cost and increase profit by working collectively to develop long-term ownership of their natural resources. We have individuals from across central Mississippi to participate in this collective effort.”
