Tuesday, June 4, 2024, offered inspiration and hope for beginning farmers across Louisiana and southern Mississippi. Mr. Warner Hall’s 2024 Spring Field Day drew more than 100 participants interested in learning from Louisiana’s Legendary Vegetable Farmer. Participants were amazed and enticed by Halll’s integrity of being a good steward of natural resources. Warner said, “My parents raised our family here on this land, where we stand. I thank my parents for sharing their insightfulness and can-do spirit. I have been blessed with support from my friends in creating this formidable farm operation, as you can see a diverse group of attendees from various perspectives participating in today’s field day. We had speakers from USDA, extension, and community-based organizations. They shared relevant information to help families increase production. We extend thanks for participating in our 2024 Spring Field Day.”
