Food prices are rising, but that isn’t stopping the Winston County Self-Help Cooperative. On May 9, 2025, the WCSHC distributed tomato and pepper plants to its members, empowering them to feed their families and uplift their communities. Growing your own food opens the door to a healthier lifestyle and financial savings.
We are building strong connections to nature through education and hands-on experiences that promote self-sufficiency. Together, we are nurturing our members and community to cultivate their gardens with passion and purpose. We support food security and sustainability, fostering a profound appreciation for our natural resources and our essential role in caring for them.
The WCSHC remains steadfast in our mission, working tirelessly to uphold our mantra: “Saving Rural America.”
