On Friday, February 7, 2025, Winston County Self Help Cooperative (WCSHC) hosted its Save Rural America Conference at Holmes County Career and Technical Center, an agricultural education and opportunity hub. The event brought together students, industry professionals, and key agricultural organizations to highlight the vast opportunities available in the field of agriculture.
Several esteemed partners and vendors participated in the conference, offering valuable insights into the many paths within the agricultural sector. Representatives from Alcorn State University, the Mississippi Forestry Commission, the USDA, the Mississippi Federation of Cooperatives, the Museum of Natural Science, Mississippi State Extension, Future Farmers of America, and the Alcorn Agri-Research Program were in attendance.
