A prescribed fire workshop will be conducted to inform private landowners and managers on using fire as a tool to enhance wildlife habitat and manage timber. Experienced fire practitioners will be available to answer questions.
Topics include:
- Benefits of prescribed burning for wildlife
- Fire as a forest management tool
- Potential cost-share for prescribed burning
