The cold weather is reaping havoc on the human population, healthcare industry, businesses, and animals. Eichelberger Cattle Farm is located southeast of Louisville, MS, in the Mt. Sinai Community. Eichelberger Cattle Farm operates with a fortified effort to produce a healthy herd of cattle. Cliff said, “This current weather pattern is not pro-friendly to cattle farmers. The cold and wet conditions cause stress for the cattle. Therefore, as a cattle farmer, you must be aware of the stress indicators. Allen McReynolds and I discussed various strategies to protect our cattle herds. “I am checking and feeding my cattle daily to maintain their health. I encourage individuals with animals to monitor their investments closely over the next five days. Meteorologists have predicted more cold weather. Herding cattle could be a challenging task if you don’t have support from your family. I am thankful to my wife (Nancy Eichelberger) for managing the farm over the years. She fed and checked the animals under adverse weather conditions without hesitation. This energy has transferred to our grandchildren. They enjoy feeding and watching the cattle. This propels hope that the Eichelberger Cattle Farm will exist another generation.”
