Recently, I attended a Muscadine Jelly workshop led by Ms. Rosie Harris at the Winston County Self Help Cooperative Campus 2948 Highpoint-Weir Rd, Louisville, MS. The class was so inspiring that I decided to try my hand at making jelly for the first time. Although I had never done it before, I felt encouraged to step into something new.
Part of that courage came from the memory of my granddaughter Byronica DeBerne Banks. She often reminded me of the scripture: “I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me.” (Philippians 4:13). Her words continue to inspire me to believe in myself and take on new challenges with faith.
