The Winston County Self Help Cooperative (WCSHC) and the Mississippi Center for Justice (MCJ) joined forces as vendors at the Christian Methodist Episcopal (CME) Annual Conference. Together, we worked to spread the message of sustainability by equipping individuals with tools, knowledge, and encouragement to live more self-sufficient lives.
In 2025, the Fourth Episcopal District of the CME Church convened in Vicksburg, Mississippi, from July 14–17. Our joint presence at the conference reinforced the importance of community collaboration and education in building a more sustainable future. We discussed the services we provide, highlighting the canning workshops we conducted over the summer.
The WCSHC created long-lasting memories by capturing moments through photos and making meaningful connections with attendees, further strengthening our mission. We distributed pamphlets filled with important information about the WCSHC and t-shirts as a gift to remind them to check out our website.
Check out the photos from this joyous time.
