My day started at 4:30am. I arrived in Greensburg, LA, shortly after 8am. Warner Hall and Team members worked fervently to complete setting up chairs and tables for the attendees. Eleven presenters shared a wealth of information to push potential farmers into first gear. Participants toured the field, filled with Warner’s 2026 Cole crop. They returned to the yard and lined up to gobble up the scrumptious meal. WCSHC presented Warner Hall with a plaque for his commitment and dedication to help save Rural America. Warner conveyed words of appreciation for helping him with the field day planning and other essential details.

Warner harvested 14 bundles of collard greens for Winston County Self Help Cooperative’s Agritourism and Farm-to-Table event, planned for Tuesday, October 20, 2026.
Frank Taylor returned to Jackson, MS for a brief pit stop, before gearing up for the drive to Louisville, MS, to drop off collard greens at the campus. After completing maintenance checks inside the facility, Frank dashed back to 2800 Highpoint-Weir Rd and placed his clothes in the dryer. Frank paused and reflected over the activities achieved on this day. After one hour of solitude and quietness, Frank packed his bags and pointed his truck due south, for an hour and a half drive back to Jackson. Frank arrived safely, with the intent of penning this brief narrative before 12am.
Tuesday, October 13, 2026, can be described as amazing. Commitment creates success. The clock showed 12am. Okay, good morning Wednesday.
